Summer Vaccine Clinics

Through the generosity of PetSmart Charities and OK Humane Society the Summer Vaccine Clinics of  2019 were a huge success.

267 pets from three different vaccine clinics received low cost vaccines, dewormer and flea and tick prevention.

The first vaccine clinic was able to serve 162 pets. It was held at the Altus Community Center on June 22nd from 11am to 2pm.

Our friends from OK Humane Society  and students from Altus High School offered invaluable support to make this clinic a huge success.

The second clinic provided care to 38 pets at the Ridgecrest Apartments. The clinic was held on July 20 from 8am to 10am.

Pets For Life Coordinator, NaCole Torres helped organize the event together with a dedicated group of community volunteers.

The third clinic served residents of Mangum, OK - 67 Greer County pets! Through the generous support of the Red River Cowboy Church who volunteered their place as the venue and the volunteers from Greer County Spay/Neuter Incentive Program, Blair Veterinary Science Club and the City of Mangum & Animal Control Officers more animals provided with preventative care.

AAWA would like to recognize the love and dedication that these pet parents have for their companion. Our organization is very honored to have earned the trust and support of the community.

Keeping your pets happy and healthy is a never ending journey and AAWA is glad to have helped in our own little way.
