  • Please allow your pet to use the bathroom prior to drop-off.

  • Drop off is at 7am, Pick-up varies, but is usually after 3pm!

  • You will receive a phone call from our clinic when your pet is awake and ready to go home!

  • Cats - BYOC - Bring your own crate if you are able! The less transfers from our crates to yours, the better for your pet!
If you will need to borrow a crate, please let us know when you schedule your appointment.

Please note...

  • We currently accept cash only.

  • Space is limited!  If you are unable to come to your appointment, please call to cancel so we can offer your spot to someone on our waitlist!

  • Animals are not sent home with pain medication as they are given an injection of pain meds before leaving OK Humane

  • You may receive $15 off spay/neuter services if you provide documentation of an updated Rabies vaccine for your pet. Otherwise, Rabies vaccines are required for all animals receiving surgery at AAWA.

  • If your female pet is pregnant, she will still be spayed.

  • AAWA is a non-profit organization.  We work hard to keep prices as low as possible through grants, donations, and volunteers, but still have to account for overhead costs.

TNR

  • Many Altus locals know… we have quite the overpopulation of community cats!  AAWA is proud to help reduce cruelty, scarcity, and overpopulation by providing spay-neuter care for non-owned, feral cats in our community.
You trap ‘em, we fix ‘em!

  • By spaying/neutering community cats, you can help to keep local shelter numbers down and help reduce animal suffering in/around Altus

  • Ear-tips are provided as part of the spay-neuter procedure.

  • Currently, prices are the same for ferals receiving care from AAWA, but we are working to secure funding to reduce prices for local TNR efforts!
